In this Norwegian valley in the heart of a fjord, it is Gyda, the boss of all the goats in the herd, also called the Goat Queen, who decides. The herd of goats spend large parts of the year in the high mountains where they thrive. They are gathered in by the farmer who usually brings a large crew to collect all the goats for transport home to the barn for the winter.
