Grandma Ling was the hero of the whole family. Here we see her with her newlywed husband Tsin Yuman. He is lying under the vase, which they just received as a wedding present. Grandma Ling was as flexible as a cat, and she loved to dance. She was probably ahead of her time in many ways. Children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have been blessed to be in possession of the bridal portrait Ling and Tsin Yuman chose. It was all the rage in Beijing when Linn was in great shape. Dancing THE MING LING THING was "in" in large parts of the country.
